My Step-By-Step Solution to Finding Answer to Today’s Wordle
1st Word – FLORA
You know the drill. Right?
The very first 5-letter word for today’s NY Times Wordle was the correct word for Wordle 653 which was FLORA and it gave me a more than a decent start.
FLORA gave me three yellow blocks one after another with the letters O, R and A in them right at the end.
2nd Word – ORATE
Given the output of the first attempt, I decided to start my second word with the ending sequence of the first attempt. So my second word for the second attempt was ORATE.
ORATE came back with an additional yellow block with the letter T in it on the 4th position, however, it also didn’t give me any green block which meant that now I knew the 4 out of 5 letters in Today’s Wordle but interestingly, not the exact position of any single one them.
3rd Word – TAROT
For my third attempt, I decided to use a word with a repeating letter. Although, I don’t normally do that but this time, it seemed like a great choice. So for my third attempt, I used TAROT and finally, it gave me a green block on the second spot with the letter A in it.
4th Word – RATIO
With all the information gathered from the past 3 attempts, using common sense, I figured that the word will end with O and start with R and with A in the middle, the T will either end up in the 3rd or the 4th spot and for obvious reasons, it was the third position. So for my fourth attempt, I used RATIO and that’s how I solved the Wordle of the day.
