So what do I think of Today’s Wordle?

If you ask me, it wasn’t easy at all. First of all, it’s a technical jargon of some sort and you will only hear it being spoken by mathematicians, scientists, or geeks and nerds so that makes it quite uncommon.

Many including kids would need a dictionary to figure out its meaning so I won’t be surprised if someone finds today’s puzzle a bit challenging to crack.

Although I solved it in just 3 attempts and under 4 minutes but I’d chalk up this success to my starting letter. So don’t get bogged down if you find Wordle Today giving you the run for your money.

My Step-By-Step Solution to Finding Answer to Today’s Wordle

So you want to see how I finally solved today’s NY Times Wordle? Here’s a video representation of my thought process.

1st Word – LEAFY

Starting today’s NY Times Wordle with LEAFY wasn’t a difficult choice. As it was the correct 5-letter word for yesterday’s Wordle, as a self-imposed rule, I’ve committed to using the last day’s Wordle as the next day’s first word. Hence, LEAFY and it didn’t disappoint me at all.

Although it gave me only a single green block but it was right in the beginning with the letter L in it and if you’ve played Wordle for some time, you may realize the importance of guessing the correct word in the first position and that too on the very first attempt.

2nd Word – LIGHT

The second word, LIGHT was not that useful. It didn’t give even a single new green or yellow block. Therefore, I only knew that today’s puzzle is starting with L.

However, by the end of the second attempt, I had already ruled out 8 letters that include A, E, F, G, H, I, T and Y. Including three vowels, these are some popular English letters and this helped me narrow down the list for my third attempt.

3rd Word – LOCUS

With 3 vowels already out of the equation, I was now left with 2 vowels to try. The logical move which I opt for was to use O after L and looking at all the other consonants that I had already used, LOCUS seemed like the best choice for the third attempt and after hitting Enter, this indeed proved to be the correct choice as well and that’s how I solved the Wordle of the day.
