Today’s word was not an easy one. Although it has some popular letters but I can say that this is not a frequently-spoken word. History buffs must be well aware of it and people from other walks of life as well but I highly doubt we speak this word that often in our day-to-day lives. Kids especially will have a hard time understanding what this word means.
Nevertheless, despite all of it, I solved it within 3 attempts. That’s two days in a row and to boast a little more, I solved it either within a minute or slightly more than that. However, that was all due to choosing the right words so I don’t want you to get disappointed if you take more time or attempts than me.

Those who are not visiting this blog for the first time, know that I start the daily wordle with the correct word of the previous day. Since Wordle 677 – Published on Apr 27, 2023, it was LOGIC. This became my today’s starting word.
LOGIC turned out to be a decent choice as it gave me two yellow blocks right at the end (4th and 5th spots) with the letter I and C respectively.
2nd Word – CIDER
For the next attempt, I decided to flip I and C and tested them in the beginning. Therefore, CIDER became my choice for the second attempt.
Another reason I chose this word was that it has a popular letter, E which is considered the most-used letter in the English language and second, the letter R also ranks among the top 10 most-used English letters. Hence this became my automatic choice.
CIDER turned out to be the best choice as it not only confirmed the exact positions of the letters, C and I (1st and 2nd spots respectively) by showing them in green blocks but also gave me an extra yellow block right at the end with the letter R in it.
Now, I only had to guess two more letters.
3rd Word – CIRCA
Since now I only had to guess two more letters, I decided to first shift the letter R from the last spot to the third. With CIR as the opening letters, I could only think of CIRCA as the best choice to try out and once I input this word and hit enter, I was proven correct as I saw all the blocks turning gree and that’s how I solved the Wordle Of The Day.
