My Own Step-By-Step Solution to Finding Answer to Today’s Wordle

So you want to see how I finally solved today’s NY Times Wordle? Here’s a video representation of my thought process.

My starting word on the first attempt was AROSE as it contains two vowels following the famous combination of 5-letter words starting with A and ending with E.

It returned back with just one yellow block with the letter E on the 5th spot.

So, to figure out the exact position of E, I tried EIGHT. Again, it gave me one more yellow block on the third spot with the letter G in it.

With the knowledge that the letter E is not on the fifth spot (from the first attempt), I made a stupid move of using NUDGE. Although it gave me 4 yellow blocks but I believe that I could have done a lot better by using another word here.

Anyways, since I knew that the letter U is also in the mix, I thought of using GLUED and to some level, I thought that this could be today’s word, but it wasn’t and again, it came back with all the yellow blocks, however, looking at all the results, I was now certain that what the correct word was and although it took some time as I pondered on it a lot but ultimately the word, DEBUG proved to be the correct word.

And that’s how folks, I solved the Wordle today.
