Today's NY Times Wordle 611 Hints & Answer – February 20, 2023

Hello, Wordlers,

If you’re new to this website then Are you looking for the NY Times Daily Wordle Hints? Well, I’ve solved today’s challenge and now, I’m here with the hints, clues and answer to today’s Wordle #611 published on February 20, 2023.

Wordle Today was quite interesting as well as easy. There were no repeating letters, it wasn’t based off of one of those rhyming words, and most of the letters were the top-most used letters in the English language so I figured it out quite easily. Although it took me 5 attempts but that’s because I’ve started to use less popular starting words to start off my daily wordle endeavor.

The difficulty of the word was also not great. Every English-speaking person normally uses it in their day-to-day conversation. Especially during summers 🙂

My Own Step-By-Step Solution to Finding Answer to Today’s Wordle

So you want to see how I finally solved today’s NY Times Wordle? Here’s a video representation of my thought process.

To keep up with my streak of using a new starting word every time I start Wordle, today, I tried PANEL on my first attempt. This gave me A and E in yellow blocks on the 2nd and 4th positions respectively.

Looking at the result, I had a gut feeling that Wordle Today is based on the 5-letter words starting with A and ending with E so I tried ABOVE.

I was wrong!

So with the knowledge that the letter A is not on the first or second spots and the letter E is not on the third and fifth spots, I decided to use TEARS for my third attempt. Although it showed me that along with the letters A and E, T and S are also part of today’s challenge but they all are in different positions. So by the end of the third attempt, I now have 4 yellow blocks and not a single green one. However, this information was sufficient for me to guess the correct word.

For my fourth attempt, I tried STEAM. This gave me S, E and A in green blocks and from here, it wasn’t too difficult to crack today’s Wordle. In the 5th attempt, for obvious reasons, I tried SWEAT which, as expected, was the Wordle Of The Day and that’s how I solved the Wordle Today.
