• Second Hint: The starting letter is S
• Third Hint: There are no repeating letters.
• Fourth Hint: 3 out of 5 letters are from the top 7 most used English letters.
• Fifth Hint: It is an Adjective, Noun and Verb.
• Sixth Hint: A sitting position and an exercise

My Own Step-By-Step Solution to Finding Answer to Today’s Wordle

So you want to see how I finally solved today’s NY Times Wordle? Here’s a video representation of my thought process.

1st Word – ROWDY

The brand new word to start off today’s Wordle was ROWDY. Other than the information that none of these letters were part of the day’s challenge, this word didn’t give me any other valuable information.

2nd Word – CHASE

The second word I used is CHASE. Although, still I couldn’t get any green blocks but It gave me 2 yellow blocks at 3rd and 4th spots for the letters A and S respectively.

3rd Word – BLAST

Although this was redundant I still decided to go with BLAST. The reason I say that it was redundant because the letters A and S in BLAST are in the same positions as in CHASE that I used in the second attempt. So there was no chance of BLAST being the correct answer. I used it because I wanted to confirm the other three spots and as I was expecting, although the first 2 blocks didn’t change their colors, BLAST gave me a green block right at the very end with the letter in it.

4th Word – SAINT

With the information that the letter T is in the end and there are letters A and S somewhere, I decided to flip the combination from AS to SA and use it in the beginning. So I used the word, SAINT.

This trick partially worked as the letter S at the very first spot, turned green. So now, I had S and T in green blocks (1st and 5th spots respectively) and the letter A in the yellow block. However, I was now sure that the letter A is on the 4th spot and this helped me in coming up with the word for my 5th attempt.

5th Word – SQUAT

Before using the word SQUAT for my 5th attempt, I was thinking of using SWEAT. However, I remembered that the word, SWEAT had already appeared in Wordle #611 on February 20, 2023.

So the only choice left for me was SQUAT and not surprisingly, this turned out to be Wordle of the Day and that’s how I solved the Wordle Today.
