My Own Step-By-Step Solution to Finding Answer to Today’s Wordle
1st Word – BESET
I’ve changed my modus-operandi a bit. While I’m still committed to using a brand-new, unique and never-used-before 5-letter word to start my daily NY Times Wordle, a slight change that I have introduced to come up with a new word every day is by using the correct answer of the previous day’s Wordle as my first word.
Since BESET was the correct word for Wordle 648, I used it as the first word today and it worked wonders for me as it came back with a green block on the very first position with the letter B in it. Moreover, it also gave me a yellow block on the second spot with the letter T in it.
With the first letter figured out, I narrowed down the list for me.
2nd Word – BLEAK
Since E wasn’t in the second position, I decided to try it on the third and used BLEAK as my second word. BLEAK not only gave me the exact position of E (2nd spot) but it also gave me the accurate “whereabouts” of the letter A as well (3rd spot).
3rd Word – BREAD
By the end of the 2nd attempt I now knew the positions of B, E and A. Figuring out the correct word from here was walking in the park. Since K was already ruled out in the second attempt, BREAK wasn’t the correct word for sure. This left me with one popular word, BREAD which I tried for my 3rd attempt and this indeed proved to be the Wordle Of The Day.
Needless to say, BREAD will also be my first word to start tomorrow’s Wordle 650.
