My Step-By-Step Solution to Finding Answer to Today’s Wordle
1st Word – THUMP
The correct word for Wordle 669 – Published on Apr 19, 2023, was THUMP and according to the self-imposed rule or a ritual, this was supposed to by my today’s very first 5-letter word to kick-off the NY Times Wordle game.
Although THUMP did not give me a single green block but it did give me a couple of yellow blocks. One right in the beginning (1st spot) and the other right in the end (5th spot) with the letters T and P respectively.
2nd Word – PALET
For my second attempt, I decided to flip the positions of the letters in yellow blocks, T and P. Therefore, I thought of a word that has P in the beginning and T at the end. I could only think of PALET and turned out to be a great move.
PALET came back with P in the green block (1st position) and the rest of the blocks turned yellow. This meant that I now have to just rearrange the rest of the letters to solve the puzzle.
3rd Word – PETAL
Since all it needed was to rearrange the available letters, I quickly used PETAL for my third attempt and this gave me the same result as in the second attempt which was a green block in the beginning and the rest of the blocks in yellow. This meant that I had to take another swing at it.
4th Word – PLATE
By the time I reached the 4th attempt, I was left with no other choice than to use PLATE and as expected, this turned out to be the correct word and that’s how I solved the Wordle Of The Day.
Wordle 670 – PLATE – Meaning
PLATE as a noun is a part of the crockery or utensil on which food is served. This word is also used as a covering or layer. As a verb, plate means the action of applying a layer or covering or arranging or serve food.
