Hints & Clues to Today’s NY Times Wordle 681 – May 01, 2023
Read below to check out the Hints & Clues to NY Times Today’s Wordle #681 – May 01, 2023 :
PLAZA gave me only one yellow block right in the middle with the letter A in it.
2nd Word – ABOVE
Since A was the only letter in yellow in the first attempt, I decided to start the second word with it and tried to make an educated assumption that our today’s word is a 5-letter word that starts with A and ends with E.
I was half correct. Although today’s word does end with the letter E (green block) but it doesn’t certainly start with A. So I now have a green and a yellow block.
3rd Word – RAISE
For my third attempt, I used RAISE as I wanted to shift A to the second spot and while doing that, test another vowel, I. So RAISE seemed like an apt choice and boy, it turned out to be a great one.
RAISE gave me the exact positions of the letter R and A (1st and 2nd spots) and with the position of the letter E already known (5th spot) I was only two letters away from figuring out the correct word for today.
4th Word – RANGE
My choice of the word, RANGE wasn’t a difficult one to make as I only had to guess two more letters and looking at the virtual keyboard, it didn’t take me too long to figure out the correct word and that’s how I solved the Wordle Of The Day
Wordle 681 – RANGE – Meaning
RANGE as a noun means variations in limits (upper and lower) as a verb, RANGE means to arrange in a specific manner.
