So you want to see how I finally solved today’s NY Times Wordle? Here’s a video representation of my thought process.
Do I need to tell what was my first 5-letter word to start today’s NY Times Wordle?
You guessed it right.
It was METRO as it was the correct word for yesterday’s Wordle 676 – Published on Apr 26, 2023. So I didn’t think for a second using any other word.
METRO gave me just a single yellow block right at the end with the letter O in it.
The second word, LOANS was an interesting choice.
Interesting in the sense that I wasn’t thinking of using it initially. Normally, when I end up with a single yellow block on the first attempt, I tend to start the second word with the letter that showed up in the yellow block.
Since in my case, it was O, I started thinking of the words that start with O and do not have letters already used in the first attempt, however, today, my creative skills were not at their zenith, hence, I couldn’t think of any word that starts with O but doesn’t have E in it so the next word I came up with what was the correct word for today’s Wordle. However, since it didn’t have the letter A in it, I went for loans.
Had I chosen the other one, I’d wrapped up Wordle in just 2 attempts, a feat that I have only achieved twice so far. However, I’m also happy with 3 attempts as well.
Anyway, LOANS gave me two green blocks on the first and second spots with the letters L and O respectively. This almost solved the entire puzzle for me.
A word starting with the letters L and O and with E and A already ruled out, it wasn’t difficult for me to guess the correct word. Therefore, I typed in LOGIC for my third attempt and as expected, this turned out to be the correct word and that’s how I solved the Wordle Of The Day.
LOGIC is a noun that is an abstract concept of thinking according to a set of particular principles.
